Entrepreneurship, Step by Step.
You don't need to understand the entire journey before taking the first step. FFC breaks entrepreneurship into a practical process that members work through progressively.
Phase 1
Think Like a Founder
Learn how entrepreneurs identify problems, opportunities and unmet needs. Start noticing the world differently.
Phase 2
Find Opportunities
Look at problems you experience, problems people around you experience, products people already buy, services people struggle to access, communities you understand, skills you possess, local opportunities and online opportunities.
Phase 3
Develop Ideas
Turn observations into possible business ideas. Generate multiple ideas before becoming emotionally attached to one.
Phase 4
Evaluate
Can we actually build this? Who would buy it? How difficult is it to start? How much money is required? Can we test it cheaply? Can we reach potential customers?
Phase 5
Validate
Before investing heavily: talk to people, show concepts, take feedback, run small experiments and test willingness to buy. Use evidence instead of assumptions.
Phase 6
Build
Develop the first version of your product, service, brand, packaging, pricing, offer, sales process, marketing material and customer experience.
Phase 7
Launch
Put the business into the real world — social media, WhatsApp, e-commerce, a physical event, a pop-up, a local network, direct sales, online marketplaces or another suitable channel.
Phase 8
Sell
Learn to approach customers, explain the offer, handle questions, deal with objections, ask for the sale, follow up and understand what converts interest into revenue.
Phase 9
Learn From Reality
Once customers interact with the business, assumptions become evidence. What did people like? What did they dislike? Why didn't someone buy? Was the price right? Was the messaging clear?
Phase 10
Improve
Change what needs changing. Keep what works. Remove what doesn't. Repeat. This is entrepreneurship.
